5 K RACE RESULTS

The 25th Annual Mission 10 Run is Saturday, JANUARY 26, 2008.
It starts and ends at the historic Mission San Juan Bautista.
The area is rural and scenic, and the course takes runners through farm land and up the Anzar hills.
Medals are awarded three deep in standard age categories.
The 10 mile course starts at 10 a.m.
The 5k (3-mile) walk/run starts at 10:15 a.m.
Pre-registration is $20 and on the day of the race $25.
2nd ANNUAL 1 MILE KIDS FUN RUN: The Fun Run will start at 9am.
The fee for the Fun Run is only $5.00 (without the T-shirt), or $12.00 for three or more kids in the same family.
Race day registration will start at 8am.
All proceeds go to the Hollister Rotary Club for charitable giving and scholarships.

In January 2007, 407 runners competed in either the 5k walk/run or the 10 mile run.
The top male finisher in the 10 mile race was Carlos A. Sigueiro, age 25, from San Jose He was also the winner in 2006 and 2005.

The Elliott Swank Memorial Fun Run for kids was a great success with some outstanding times (results to be posted soon)
Other "competitors" included people pushing baby carts, walking with their leashed dogs, and enjoying the scenic walk.
This Mission Ten Race was again a great success.
Everyone had fun and helped raise money for good cause, thanks to Bill Tiffany and the Hollister Rotary Club.
